Don Beard CLU ChFC CASL has been in the insurance and financial services industry since 1984, exluding his three year 'sabbatical' during which he was in the ministry full time.

In 2003, he founded Higher Ground Insurance & Financial Services so that he could best serve the needs of his clients through brokering insurance and financial products that could be tailored to meet specific and personal concerns.

Don and Karen have been happily married since 1985.
